Sharefest
Gala Branding
A nonprofit in Los Angeles working with under-served youth, Sharefest needed to stand out in the sea of fundraising gala's. They approached 27th Letter Media looking for an edgy, interesting look and feel for their 2018 gala. I started by creating an invitation experience and carried the look and feel through the event design. Changing the Odds is the most successful gala in Sharefest history.
DĀLYTE
Brand Design
AiA Industries approached 27th Letter Media with a request for a new name and brand. After the new name, DĀLYTE was selected, I was tasked with creating a logo that hinted at the skylights they sell. I designed a logo with cut in the 'roof' and a blue bit of sky. Once the logo design was complete, I worked to create a complete brand package including business cards, letterhead, email signatures, sell sheets and presentation folders.
Nova Automation
Brand Design
As a legacy company under new ownership, NOVA needed a new logo to represent them as modern packaging automation providers. Inspired by their process and the packaging lines they build, I crafted a logo with lines and variegated shades of blue. Once the logo was complete I created a complete visual brand guide and package including office signage, business cards, product sheets, and various website elements.
NAMJet
Collateral Creation
NAMJet came to 27th Letter Media as an unknown in the sea of boat engine manufacturers. Needing to make a splash at an event, they engaged us to make a collection of new print collateral. Taking the idea of waves and wakes, I designed modern, custom print layouts that caught the attention of their potential customers at the event. Since the event I've gone on to design and photograph many pieces for NAMJet.
Diocese of Colorado Springs
Gatefold Brochure
The Diocese of Colorado Springs challenged us to capture the spirit of their fundraising effort in a simple, visual piece. I was inspired by the idea of doors being opened and laid out a gatefold piece that helped their team tell the story while supporting their words with a visual guide.
Cherry Hills Community Church
T-Shirt Design
Midpoint is the middle school youth group at Cherry Hills Community Church. Desiring to stay relevant in the lives of their kids, they asked me to design a t-shirt for their summer retreat that middle school kids would be excited to wear outside of church. Starting with a linear mountain scene, I broke it up with a neon gradient effect. The shirt was an immediate hit and became the best selling retreat shirt to date.
Rocky Mountain Conference
Stylized Poster Design
Inspired by vintage National Parks posters, Rocky Mountain Conference wanted a similar design for their 2017 camp posters. Starting from a collection of photos of the camp, I created complex vector art that captures the spirit of the location and the original inspiration. These posters are some of the most detailed complex pieces of art I have created to date.
